One Monkey 04:13
(written by Gillian Welch & David Rawlings) One monkey don't stop the show One monkey don't stop the show One monkey don't stop the show Whoa, so get on board One monkey don't stop the show One monkey don't stop the show One monkey don't stop the show Whoa, so get on board Here comes the freight train Here comes the freight train Here comes the freight train So get on board One monkey don't stop the show One monkey don't stop the show One monkey don't stop the show Whoa, so get on board There is a purpose, a running keep There is a captain, with a steady wheel One monkey don't stop the show One monkey don't stop the show One monkey don't stop the show Whoa, so get on board One monkey don't stop the show One monkey don't stop the show One monkey don't stop the show Whoa, so get on board Here comes the slow train Here comes the slow train Here comes the slow train So get on board Oe monkey don't stop the show One monkey don't stop the show One monkey don't stop the show Whoa, so get on board She's at the station, running slow Ready for leavin', she's gonna go One monkey don't stop the show One monkey don't stop the show One monkey don't stop the show Whoa....

You're a sad little man Looking for an angry stance A one man tango dance Trying to prove that no one's on your side. You're a pained little man In a corner again Lost down another dead end Sarcasm drips like venom from your tongue Downed a bottle of your failed schemes Bed sit broken dreams You're a sad little man More chip than shoulder my friend Arrogant. Can't be pleased. Take your shit and get up off your knees

40 Years 06:43
I'm here to help But I'm not helping I'm here to please But I'm not pleasing anyone Anyone Sometimes I feel Like a hollow ball Filled with nothing And just rolling on and on 40 years of learning And I don't know a thing Filled with knowledge But I'm atrophied within 40 years of learning And I've just realised 40 years to go There ain't no prize I need some help But no one's helping I'm on my knees Begging, please Please please please Sometimes I feel like Nothing at all Looking forwards Looking backwards And I can't tell Which way I'm looking at all 40 years of learning And I don't know a thing Filled with knowledge But I'm atrophied within 40 years of learning And I've just realised 40 years to go There ain't no prize

about

Sturm und Drang* is a dark brooding, SadCore/Alt-Blues E.P.

'Sturm und Drang' is darker than previous works, with heavier guitar work over slowly evolving tracks. The lyrics focus on ideas of despair, lost friendships and ennui.

On 'Sturm und Drang' Tuttle has also teamed up with guitarist Tony Apple (of Cornwall's Gwelhellin) for a brooding cover of Gillian Welch's 'One Monkey'.

The EP is available both digitally and on CD
___

*Sturm und Drang is German and is usually translated as 'Storm and Stress'. It was originally an 18th Century Romantic movement focussing on the emotions over logic. The term Sturm und Drang is used to describe turmoil or emotional intensity.
